"Refreshingly bright with hints of apricot and cashew on the nose with a vibrant floral, mineral and zesty palate. Subtle oak on the finish. A ripper chardonnay with plenty of stone fruit flavours and gentle oak treatment. Beautifully integrated and balanced.
Clones - Bay Block I10V1, Hill Block I10V5. 100% destemmed, barrel ferment, 9 months ageing on lees in 2 and 3 year old French oak.
Family owned, Nurringa Park was planted in 1994 by our parents, Nick and Anna Norgard. They’d recently returned from living in Asia, retired from their corporate life and found themselves yearning to do something completely different. With strong connections to the Bellarine and fond of a wine, they re-trained as Viticulturists and planted vines at our property. Still a family operation, Nurringa Park is now run by sisters in law, Edwina Norgard and Erena Crowley. Our small batch wines are vinified to preserve the unique characteristics of our cool climate, maritime vineyard." - Winemaker
