"The wine is very deep red in colour. Lovely aromas of ripe blackberry fruit wafted from the glass and it appeared young and intense at this early stage of its life. The palate tasted of sweet blackberries and licorice and showed powerful flavours with excellent length. Overall, a very good young V.P.. The best on the day of this vertical tasting along with the 2002 and 1998. Will be interesting to see how it develops.
