Campbell Mattinson 94 points!"The 2007 Noon reds were made in the smallest quantities ever, due to the drought. Limit was a remarkable one bottle per customer, which underlines (as much as anything) the demand for these hand-crafted wines.
It's likely the best Noon cabernet I have tasted. It's reserved and unevolved but it has enormous power and form and the thing really is, the structure here is magnificent. The flavours are interesting too: blackcurrant, ironstone, ink and regional mint. There's serious length of flavour here. And while of course there is alcohol warmth, it is not to the wine's detriment. The score may even be a touch harsh - depends on how it evolves."

Wine Advocate 95 points!"The 2007 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon was sourced from a 35 year old vineyard with yields under 1 ton per acre. It was raised in 57% new French oak for 18 months. It displays an enticing perfume of wood smoke, eucalyptus, violets, black currant, and blackberry. Structured and slightly sinewy on the palate, this full-bodied , ripe effort has a slightly tannic finish. It will benefit from 5-7 years of cellaring and drink well through 2027.
In a challenging vintage Drew Noon made superb wines, if not quite as sublime as when the weather is more cooperative."
