"Deep red in colour, with intense aromas of blackcurrants, raspberries and cedar/cloves. Big, deeply flavoured palate. Richer and less elegant than the other reds this year, this tastes like it came from a warmer vintage. Lovely deep flavours of sweet berries and cedar/spice, balanced by perfectly ripe tannin to dry the finish and suggest good ageing potential. Very persistent on the palate, the finish lasts for over one minute! Should be an excellent vintage. Optimum drinking time: Best given a few years in the cellar, then drunk from 2010 to 2020."
