Mike Bennie 93+ points!"In the groove. Sultry wine this. Sexed up with pretty aromatics of brambly black berry fruit, a squish of apricot nectar, wafts of floral things. A little candied, but not heady. A sluice of even, juicy, red fruit flavours, licks of sweetness, but honed with ultra fine, graphite-like mineral infused tannins and frisky acidity. The flow is cool, a touch reserved even, and counters any sweetness with even, freshness of acid and tannin. Cedary mouth-pucker to close. This is great cool climate shiraz right here."
