"The flavour profile of this wine is divine. It’s meaty, smoky and spicy with graphite and cherry-plum flavours running juicily throughout. There’s a whole bunch-mescal aspect and it’s a beautiful complement to the wine as a whole, especially on the nose but then its effect is entirely positive on the palate as well. This wine really does give the savoury cool-climate style a shake; it goes in with both feet, herbs, stems and smokes a’flying, while all the while remaining seamless and seductive.
