Light struck match complexity, honeyed, white flowers, white fruit, gentle nougat oak. Medium bodied, very composed, a little gloss to the texture mixing it up with some flint and stuck match. Excellent length. Beautiful wine. So classy. Picture perfect Yarra Chardonnay.

It is one that will undoubtedly reward careful cellaring for at least the next 10-15 years. The nose opens with some struck match, but quickly reveals tones of cashews, grapefruit and toast. The palate exhibits a perfect balance between acid, phenolics and oak, all combining to draw out the finish. There is a purity of fruit seen in this Chardonnay that can only be found in the very best vintages.
