'New oak is down to 20% in the chardonnays of Moorooduc Estate another shift in the program in recent years. The vineyard was planted in 1983. Best barrels go into this wine.

Exotic fruit scents, quince, pawpaw, ripe tropical citrus, but also shows nougat/cedar oak, spice, intense chardonnay hit. Racy, lean, tightly wound and pushes with great flavour and thrust across the palate. Fine detail, complexity, flesh of fruit. Its very good. Built for long life in cellars too.'
