Purple garnet in colour with a rich perfume of violets and dark ripe cherries. A touch of exotic pomegranate molasses and Mediterranean spice adds complexity to the nose, and follows through on the palate. Plush and juicy on the palate, with tangy orange notes and firm but silky tannins."

"Moorooduc Estate is an eminent Pinot Noir producer on the Mornington Peninsula. The Devil Bend Creek is their entry-level expression, made from quality Pinot Noir sourced from the northern (warmest) end of the Peninsula. Moorooduc describe their winemaking on this as "simple, natural with a pinch of quality control". There is an earthy, funky hint from the wild yeast fermentation, but otherwise it is a fruit-forward and glorious celebration of Pinot Noir which, at this price, is perfect any day of the week!"
