"Deepish red colour, with a slight purple rim. Savoury, dusty, earthy and barrel-age bouquet, with a tinge of star anise and some oyster shell. The palate is chewy in tannins and warm, with concentration and density, and super-ripe flavours. It's slightly stringy as opposed to fleshy."
