“Natural yeast does its thing with this wine. About a third of the oak is new. Snappy packaging, Simon Steele at the helm, vineyards on the up in quality (as I hear). Lots to like from Medhurst, now and near future.

Quite a punchy bouquet here, shows sauna wood, green apple, citrus peel, floral characters. Palate is floaty, soft, big in its textural spread but fresh and lively in acidity and greener spectrum/citrus fruit characters. Overall feel is pretty good here, and it is quite impressive in its precise style, if that sits well. Tight, squeaky, fresh.”
