Wine List/Marchand & Burch

[SOLD-OUT] Marchand & Burch Cremant Bourgogne N.V.

Appellation: Burgundy AOC
Style: Dry sparkling,
Methode Traditionnelle
"A new release for the Marchand & Burch label. The term Cremant is used for French sparkling wines made outside of Champagne. They spend a minimum of nine months on lees. Cremant de Bourgogne can contain a component of up to 20% Gamay and I'd guess there's some in here.

It presents as a bronze/pink hue in the flute. Bubbles are reasonably fine and the mouthfeel isn't too coarse. Plentiful red cherry and berry notes with citrus, melon and apple. Some creaminess through the mid-palate. Has a bit of presence and body. Goes down pretty well and has some personality."
