...the best vintage for Marsannay since 1990!
"This Bourgogne is a blend of Marsannay Premier Cru Longeroies, Chassagne Montrachet and Bourgogne from the lower land of the village of Pommard. Mid cherry red in colour. The nose has fragrant lift of dark berry fruit with a complex mix of spices and a hint of mushrooms. On the palate there is a very good depth of flavour with spicy plum fruit and cinnamon and clove spice characters combined with a touch of forest floor. These flavours are beautifully balanced with a very fine tannin finish. Along with generous mouth feel, this wine has the elegance and finesse of fine Pinot Noir.
