"Here's a sumptuous, concentrated crowd-pleasing red with assertive oak and the fruit to carry it. Vibrant and lightly leafy mulberry/plum fruit is paired with pronounced barrel-ferment flavours of mocha and chocolate. Long, smoky and creamy, the palate is long and supple, bursting with intensely ripe and minty fruit integrated with cigarboxy oak."

"This wine exhibits an opaque purple color, followed by a Medoc-like, herb, pain grille, cassis, and gravelly-scented nose. Medium-bodied and firm, with moderately high tannin, and outstanding purity, this wine requires 2-3 years of cellaring, and should keep for 10-15 years. The Lynn brothers, who for years supplied grapes to some of the top cuvees of Winn and John Ridoch, have begun to estate bottle their production. This is a well-made, tightly-knit wine that was extremely youthful and unevolved when I tasted it. It possesses the potential to improve in the bottle."
