“What a lovely piece of work this wine is. Like fine embroidery, such attention to detail, layered and textured, delicate and fine. It’s peppery and spicy, but offset with juiciness of blueberry and blackcurrant and the sweetness of something not unlike sarsaparilla. Light to medium bodied, glassy acidity, gentle tug of graphite tannin through its length, spice and violet perfume on the finish. There’s no bulk here: it’s been chiseled to perfection. You can drink it, brain off, or make enquiries of it should you prefer. Wonderful intricate Shiraz.”
