Wine Front 94 points!"Rose oil perfume, sweet cherry, cool mint/licorice, slight tarriness and spice. Medium bodied, tannic presence buried in juicy fruit, all cherry and rose again, lot of grip, nice width in the palate — you might call it 'fat' if you were impolite — and a slurry of controlling tannin on the finish. Put me in mind of an Etna Rosso for texture and character, for whatever reason. Perfume and minerality are the main themes here, and it also offers a kind of breeziness and 'space' in the mouth. Good potential, in all respects. Once the puppy fat comes off, the game will be well and truly on."
