"Mid lemon colour. The bouquet is quite extrovert, a plump fruit. Generous too on the palate, flesh up front, then a more classical white fruit, then a sufficient point of acidity to bring the wine into focus, with good length. Perhaps a five year wait rather than the full ten I would normally propose – but it should hold well thereafter. Drink from 2027-2033." - Jasper Morris MW, Insideburgundy.com
"These vines sit at the summit with Grenouilles, toward the center of the southern side of the valley. In contrast to some of the showier Vaudésirs of the vintage (and there are quite a few), this is more reserved and delicate. The fabulous nose brings on pomelo, star fruit and dusty chalk. This wine nicely channels the coolness of the vintage while showing the fruit generosity of the terroir." - Tim Atkin MW, Timatkin.com
