Located half-way up the hillside, in the heart of the vineyard, our 50-are (1.2 acres) parcel is split into two: one half was planted in 1967 and the other half was replanted in 2000.
The wine is matured on fine lees, only in stainless steel tanks, with as little manipulation as possible, during 16 months minimum. Long stabulation at moderated low temperatures. Fining if necessary using bentonite. One light filtration is performed before bottling.
White pepper and nutmeg complete the predominantly mineral character. This wine may appear austere and virile but is expressive in the mouth and designed to age.
