"Hand picked and whole bunch pressed, 20% barrel fermented. A fragrant nose of Nashi pear and spice leads to a richly structured palate of delicious orchard fruit, cinnamon and nutmeg, with fine acidity and elegant length. Enjoy with Asian and spicy dishes.
Lobethal Road stands alone in the north-east corner of the Adelaide Hills wine region between the heritage villages of Lobethal and Mount Torrens.
Lobethal Road’s vineyards are nurtured with modern, environmentally sustainable practices, and minimal intervention and inputs throughout the entire winemaking journey aimed at highlighting the ultimate expression of the unique location, the Hills’ cool climate, and the classic grape varieties that thrive in the region.
The entire site of the Mount Torrens vineyard and cellar door operates off the grid, supplying its own water as well as generating all its power by solar energy. Production ‘miles’ are minimal with their winemaking carried out just a kilometre down the road." - Lobethal Road
