"The truffle's back with plenty of meat on the bones this time around. We grabbed the bulk of this from the 64 year old vines on the southwest face, with the remainder from our favourite perfume spike, the now 89-year old massale selection on the soft eastern face of the cru, a seductive site straddling the borders of Castiglione Falletto and Monforte D’Alba in the Bussia zone. In the winery, we pulled everything she had in a lengthy maceration of 27 days on skins post-ferm. Aged on lees for 3 years without racking in a giant 3000L neutral oak bote, this one’s got a lot of wine inside. 100% Nebbiolo."
