Gourmet Traveller 96 points!Restrained aromas of fresh honeydew melon, grapefruit and traces of creamy yeast lees and biscuity oak. The palate is deep and intense, restrained and reserved. It's long and pure, balanced and clean.
Huon Hooke, Gourmet Traveller Wine August/September 2013.
Tyson Stelzer 96 points!"An impressive Art Series, a showcase of the power and control that defines this Margaret River icon. The bouquet proclaims its depth and richness from the outset, with ripe white peach fruit, grapefruit and even grilled pineapple. The palate is powerful in presence, deep and wide, yet held in impeccable shape thanks to a long line of lively, crunchy, finely textured acidity. 100% new French oak is proclaimed in nuances of cashew nuts around the periphery, and will quickly integrate in time."

Gary Walsh 95 Points!"Recent vintages of Leeuwin Chardonnay have been tighter and finer, still the power, but with a little more finesse.
Pear, lemon and cinnamon oak with a little smoky barrel work " typical Leeuwin smells, though finer. Medium to full bodied with a distinct lemony tang and cut to the acidity, spice, Teddy Bear biscuits, savoury toasty elements " gently done " and a fine long zesty finish of impeccable length. You get the power from the vineyard, but with less noise from alcohol and winemaking than some earlier vintages. Excellent release."
Gary Walsh, Wine Front, April 2013
A few years ago this Margaret River chardonnay was looking old-fashioned, but not any more. The 2010 is a superfine, complex melange of citrus, stone fruit, spicy oak and cashew-like characteristics, with a silky palate of superb balance, finishing super long.
