"Absolutely rife with peppermint and camphor chests this wine, which some may love, and others may loathe. Also has some dark chocolate, redcurrant, raspberry and blackberry, with cedar and coffee oak in support. Well appointed, and equally well defined " the palate is sure footed and assured " chewy gravelly tannin and well bedded acidity, tobacco and savoury stuff runs on the finish, which is long and precise with a crunch of tannin to close. Palate really is exemplary, but caveat emptor on the mint side."
