"Hazelnutty toasty oak, mint, blackcurrant, blackberry " there's no shortage of volume or density here. Tannin is ripe and plentiful and the acidity is fairly well managed " oak plays a fair, but not unwanted part in the proceedings, and alcohol warmth is present but not too intrusive. Has grip, length and authority, though some herbal elements lurk in the background and pull on the finish. Has a fair bit of potential I'd suggest and much more a wine for later than now"
