"Corvina e Corvinone 70%, Rondinella 25%, Molinara 5%. The Le Calendre Amarone Della Valpolicella is a full-bodied Italian red wine from the Veneto region. The wine has an intense ruby red colour and in the nose there are fruity aromas of ripe fruit and cherries, complemented by spicy notes. In the mouth it has a light and attractive body with a good structure and soft tannins.
Perfect for important gastronomic occasions, suitable for red meat, game, aged spicy cheese. Excellent outside mealtimes as a meditation wine.
Headed by the 5th generation of the family, Le Calendre is located in the foothills of San Pietro in Cariano, in the heart of Valpolicella Classica. The family is dedicated to preserving the ancient winemaking traditions of the region and caring for the land. The 4 hectares of vineyards are farmed using organic and low intervention methods.
