"With the base blend dominated by Chardonnay, Pinot Noir asserts itself and raises both the colour and character of this Cote Rosée. From grapes grown in the Côte de Sézanne on a 45-year-old vineyard, South-East facing with clay and chalk soils, this includes 50% reserve wine and the base blend is 48% Chardonnay 32% Pinot Noir with 20% Pinot Noir added as a red wine for colour. 60mths on lees and 7g dosage (brut).
Fruity aromas on the nose, accompanied by hints of fresh pastry. Raspberry, strawberry and pink grapefruit. On the palate the wine is round, full-bodied. Fresh with well integrated fine bubbles. it delivers an array of white, red, and black fruits with a lemony acidity and a chalky minerality that imparts a creamy sensation to the fruity richness." - Wine House
