"From the Santa Maria Valley in California. Here is the aroma of red cherries, earth, marzipan, hazelnut and oak char. The palate has a sweet cherry edge but is dragged into line by a swathe of fine tannins that meander through the wine. Strong primary fruit focus is slowly giving way to emerging undergrowth characters. It is a very good example of pinot noir from this renowned vineyard."
