A tighter shiraz that tends of lack opulence of fruit, it's already quite evolved and meaty, very ripe and rustic. Backed by spicy undertones of prunes and currants and framed by rather sinewy, fine and drying tannins, its moderately rich palate of blackberries and plums is lifted by sweet chocolate/vanilla oak, before drying out a little towards the finish.
