Jeremy Oliver Rating 92!Juicy, ripe and oaky, this assertive, peppery and intensely flavoured shiraz presents deep, smooth and vibrant varietal flavours in a slightly old-fashioned and jammy style. Smoky, vanilla and chocolate-like oak and pristine cassis, currant, dark plum and violet-like fruit culminate in a slightly salty and savoury finish of minerally complexity. Already quite leathery, it is very expressive but lacks genuine sophistication.
