Campbell Mattinson 93 Points!'This 2008 release is the perfect case in point. It could easily pass as a beefy-but-dusty shiraz. It tastes of blackcurrant and beef stock, smoky-sawdusty oak and cloves. The fruit lacks a bit of definition but it sure packs a punch. Warm, spicy, brandied finish. Integrated tannin. I wouldn't doubt its cellaring potential.'
The Wine Front, October 2011
'Dark fruits - blackcurrant and blackberry. Dense and intense, with a juicy mid-palate. Lots of tannin, but in reasonable balance with the fruit.'
