Gary Walsh 93 Points!"From what I've tasted so far, I prefer 2009 Coonawarra vintage reds over 2008 " more 'classic', for want of a better word.Mixed berries and blackcurrant, tobacco and mint with coffee nougat oak riding high. It's medium weight, with a drily tannic presence and perhaps slightly too high acidity, but there's also no alcohol heat showing either " the shape and structure of it is, you'd have to say, excellent. Has a lithe, yet masculine appeal. A good release from Katnook. Should cellar well."
