Classic Coonawarra. Tastes of pencils, blackcurrant, chocolate and dust, and while it drinks well from the moment you screw it open - it tastes far better given a few hours in the decanter. Lots of ripe, grapey, integrated tannin and while there is a tad too much acid for my liking (a common problem in Coonawarra cabernet) the wine has the overall flavour and elegance to ride it through. Excellent drink. And one that will cellar very well medium term."
