Robert Parker 94 Points!"Deep garnet-purple, the 2009 Alte Reben Shiraz is intensely scented of blueberry preserves, mulberries and dried plums with hints of mace, licorice, dark chocolate and violets. Very full bodied and concentrated, the palate is densely packed with layers of dark berry and spice flavors, supported by a firm level of fine grained tannins and refreshing acidity. The finish is long with layers of baking spices, blueberries and savory licorice flavors coming through. It should drink best 2013 to 2022+."
