Smooth, supple fine grained tannin makes its presence felt throughout as the wine flows and floods all corners of the mouth. Fresh but modest acidity, savoury oak and regional flavours complement perfectly ripe black and blue fruit. Composed, graceful even " a complete and delicious wine. Pushed the bottle to one side and drank the lot (not on my own, of course) post tasting.
