"After an early start of the vegetation, a cold period in April and May with frosty nights interrupted the speedy start of the season and caused losses in some vineyards. The warm, sunny weather that followed in the course of May to mid July then pushed the growing again, before a rather humid, cool period until September slowed down the ripening again. A golden October allowed well ripened grapes from Kabinett to TBA concentration to be harvested early, at very fortunate weather conditions."
