"Ripe, fresh and cool aromas include those of spiced plum, newly turned earth and a whiff of the sauvage. The rich, succulent and generous medium weight flavors exude a subtle minerality that provides a sense of lift to the youthfully austere, refreshing and inviting finale that exhibits just a bit more depth." - Allen Meadows
“The 2021 Fixin La Place has a light, slightly minty bouquet that opens nicely in the glass, black cherries and raspberry coulis. The palate is medium-bodied with fine delineation, fleshy and quite generous, touches of sour cherry and orange rind towards its proportioned finish.” - Neal Martin
"This 0.42ha parcel planted in 1973 on soils of clay and limestone with silt. This vineyard is located in the upper part of Fixin on a gentle slope. Due to its good exposure, the ripeness of the grapes and of the phenols are always good and give a really nice result. The wine coming from the grapes of this parcel gives an elegant Fixin with a lot of fruit and a silky texture. It's much more delicately charming than a usual Fixin with rustic tannins." - Jean Tardy
