"The 2007 Emily's Paddock Shiraz was aged in French oak only. Aromas of charcoal, smoked meat, incense, violets, and blueberry lead to a dense, layered, plush wine with a complex flavor profile, superb depth and balance, and a 60-second finish. It is a bit more structured than the Georgia's cuvee and exhibits a bit more complexity but it's a no lose proposition. It will offer a drinking window extending from 2017 to 2032."
