"Roussanne is on our radars for the warm months as it pairs so beautifully with seafood, salads or lighter meat dishes. A handful of producers are pioneering a new wave of Roussanne. Jamsheed is one of them. Grown in Beechworth, it is handpicked then whole bunch pressed and racked with full solids for richness. Aged in large format, seasoned French oak to preserve fruit flavour, it is left on lees for 8 months to add texture and toasty character. What we hope to get from Roussanne is freshness and richness at once and this delivers on both."
