[SOLD-OUT] Jamsheed Garden Gully Syrah 2015

Garden Gully vineyard. 1892 planting of low yielding bush vines. In 2015, severe repeated frost meant we only bottled 40 dozen from 8 acres. Hand harvested and fermented as 100% whole bunches in a 500L puncheon with the head removed for 40 days. Pressed to one 400L puncheon and bottled after 10 months unfiltered and unfined. One of the rarer, perfumed and finessed years for Garden Gully. Very tightly wound tannin that will take a few years to come around. Low alcohol and pure graphite this year - with slight briny tones, not something we see a lot of from this vineyard which is normally salty, earthy and meaty to the max.
