"Comes from the Warner Vineyard in Beechworth and the whole bunch count in the ferment is pretty up there. You can see that from the get-go. Elixir. Silky slide of slippery, saline-tinged brooding dark things, sits high in the palate, flows like midnight-coloured fruit across the palate. Rich scents of cinnamon dusted plums, ripening game meat, sage and pepper. The fruit carry across the palate is compact but unfettered, only barely trimmed by the amaro-tinged acidity and fine, lightly chalky tannins. Such a beautiful wine."

Lush, intensely flavored and focused, offering deep dark berry and cherry compote flavors and an exotic floral touch.
