This wonderful wine is everything we know and love about Barossa, yet shows freshness and elegance elevating it far above jammy/confected wines that often characterise the region. It is a complementary blend from two famous sites: the Schubert Block 3 in Marananga (which went into Dan Standish's discontinued Schubert Theorem wine) on the famous Roennfeldt Road. This gives backbone and structure, as well as aromatics and ripe tannin. This blends with the concentrated depth from the old vine "Bruce" site in Koonunga Kills, tended by the Kalleskes."
