'Mature smelling wine in every sense with a complex nose offering plum and raspberry fruit, tobacco, pencil, leather, spice and a touch of mint but otherwise much like Bordeaux. It's medium bodied with lovely sweet smoky fruit and cedary oak, fine soft but lightly drying tannin and impeccable balance throughout. Good reach and length round off a thoroughly charming wine of grace and sophistication.'
