This wine is made from 100% Merlot grapes from the Hollick Coonawarra vineyard. Made by Hollick since 1992, it continues its reputation as a wine of softness and
liveliness, and can be consumed on any celebratory occasion.
Good winter and spring rainfalls recharged the soils and provided near optimal growing conditions for our 2010 Vintage. The resultant healthy canopies produced full flavoured and well coloured fruit.
Clean and fresh aromas of ripe blackberries and cherries are
enhanced by chocolate/mocha notes. Cherry cola, briar fruit and dark currants, are further enhanced by underlying flavours of subtle oak and soft
tannins.
