Campbell Mattinson 95 points!'This is a sweet, rich, fine-boned wine of terrific concentration. This has power and impact galore, its luscious, saturated fruit flavour coating the tongue in a mass of velvety, dark fruit. It's a blend of 97 percent shiraz and three percent viognier - a blend I'm often not so keen on from the warmer regions. It works wonderfully here though. Aniseed, tar, blackberry, dark sugars and lots of fine, soft, chocolaty tannins. This will cellar beautifully - but is a beautiful drink now too. It's a modern Barossan blockbuster in the best sense of the words.'
