It's a blend of grenache, mourvedre and shiraz " though I don't have the exact breakdown of this 2009 release.
It's a wine with plenty of sweet-fruited oomph. Leather, licorice, plum jam and various exotic spices. It's warm and ripe but not overdone. And it feels soft and cuddly on your tongue. It's a fine addition to the Johann's Garden lineage.
