Today she is immortalised by the annual release of one Australia's great red wines, the Eileen Hardy Shiraz which was released in 1973 in honour of 'Auntie Eileen's' 80th birthday. 'Contemporary and concentrated Australian shiraz with all the bells and whistles, based around some very smart and aromatic American oak and superbly flavoured and defined fruit. Brooding, dark and spicy, its ripe plummy fruit is accented with mint, flowers, cassis and a hint of eucalypt.
