This XO Agricole Rhum has been aged for 7 years in oak barrels and then finished for 12 months in Islay Malt Whisky casks!
The nose takes us in a universe where smoky aromas intermingle [with] tropical fruit flavors of pineapple and passion fruit. After swirling, these fruity notes intensify again, whereas peat leaves gradually, replaced by a light spicy wood typical of our old agricole rums. Mouth, balanced and very well rounded, affirms the smoked notes characterising Islay whiskies.
