[SOLD-OUT] Gustave Lorentz Pinot Blanc 2019

L'AMI DES CRUSTACES! THE WINE NAME GIVES THE CLUE TO ITS PERFECT FOOD PAIRING PARTNER... SEAFOOD! THIS PINOT BLANC CLASSIQUE IS FROM ONE OF ALSACE'S MOST REGARDED PRODUCERS.

"It’s tasty. It has a subtle chalkiness to its texture. It’s refreshing. And while it’s not overly long it has enough length to satisfy. This is good; well priced, well made, driven by (dry) pear and seaspray notes, aromatic inside and out, and a perfect match with shellfish." - Wine Front

"Founded in 1836, Maison Gustave Lorentz owns 33 hectares of land on the hillsides of Bergheim in the heart of the Alsace wine region, 12.8 hectares of which are classified Grand Cru Altenberg de Bergheim, and 1.75 hectares Grand Cru Kanzlerberg.

Sourced from various hill-sides around the small village, with a predominance of heavy clay and limestone soils, this white wine has a delicate bouquet of white flowers, honey, melon and citrus aromas. The palate is lively, dry, pleasant and perfectly balanced with a well-integrated acidity and a touch of minerality. Very easy to drink, it is also easy to pair with many dishes as it matches very well with appetizers, fish and shellfish, as well as with white meat." - Gustave Lorentz
