The semillon is Clare Valley, sauvignon blanc is Adelaide Hills. The sauvignon blanc is so powerful, says Jeffrey Grosset. And so it is. Its been a work in progress since 1991, but the idea was settled on a blend with ideal sourcing of grapes from best region for each variety from Grossets sites. Builds in intensity. Smells like passionfruit, green melon, grass and herbs. Punches across the palate but retains great thirst slaking freshness and a little squeak of mineral-laden acidity. Good feel here. Complex, yet very pure.
