Grosset makes only small quantities of this hand-crafted (and foot-plunged) pinot noir. It is bright and fresh with primal black cherry aromatics and some briary notes; intense mulberry and bramble flavours that are both spicy and savoury; silky smooth texture and a delicate spine before a finish of great length. Approachable now but its balanced natural acidity will improve it in the short term and enable it to cellar well.
