" Grosset's Bordeaux-blend (if I can use that phrase) is made up of 75% cabernet sauvignon, 20% cabernet franc and 5% merlot.

The elevated (and almost exaggerated) blackcurrant notes are the first thing you notice. These aromas/flavours almost seem laced with truffles. There's a line of eucalypt and some dark, olive-y, nutty characters too. Minor (attractive) stalky notes. And a long, even-tempered finish. It's all pretty much exemplary. It's soft and approachable now, but its best days are well in front of it.."
